As I have said before, our family loves to go to Palisade State Park. It is about 10 miles from the house and is perfect for the kids. They love to play in the lake and try to catch the little fish. Of course, they have their life vests on but Bradie and Mandy still about give us a heart attack - no fear. I am a helicopter mom at it's finest at the lake but we have a fun time.
