Shay Turns 7

The day finally arrived after a year of planning on Shay's part. It was time for her puppy party. The decision on who to invite is always painful but I narrowed it to 15 which meant she could invite the girls in her class at school but not the boys. This was very disappointing to the boys since they all fight to sit by her, much to Shay's embarassment. She is so not Mandy.

Billy was home for the party and was the life of the party of course. He had the girls squeeling and laughing most of the time. We played "Trainer Says" where Billy was the trainer and each girl had a stuffed animal dog and would follow what he said like Simon Says. We played a game where I had pictures of different types of dogs and the girls could stand up and make up a story about their dog as Billy asked questions. This game was fun to watch how creative the kids were. The girls favorite game - beat up on Billy.

We then had puppy cupcakes and opened presents. We had other games to play but the girls wanted paper and crayons and they sat and drew pictures and of course giggled.

Shay had a great B-day and is already planning next years party.
